My Why - Mike James

Why did I write this eBook?

After working in photography for over twenty years, I had prejudice toward the smartphone camera. My eldest was eleven when my mum passed away. Having access to the best camera gear, I only had six photos and no video of her with her beautiful grandchildren who she absolutely adored. Now, a late adopter to the smartphone camera, I had no idea just how capable they were or any of the hidden features available. I am now on a mission to help you realise that you can capture, edit and share beautiful memories, moments and stories all on your phone. This eBook show you all the features, techniques and tips to ensure that you confidently capture those precious moments and memories.

Have you read your iPhone manual?

Your iPhone didn’t arrive with a manual! This guide covers everything in there and a whole lot more.

Whether you find yourself travelling more without your ‘big’ camera or want to be more confident capturing those precious moments and memories – there is so much more available to you, than just tapping the screen.

This 64-page eBook is for the photo enthusiast who loves photography and doesn’t want to learn all the technical stuff – guess what, you don’t need to!

Mike James, the ‘Smartphone Photo Guy’ walks you through all the features you have available; including many hidden ones! He explains the in-built photo editor (Photos), share his favourite apps, accessories and techniques on how to capture tack sharp images and those difficult low light images.
