In-person workshop FAQs
No, you do not need any experience. That is what makes mobile photography so exciting. We have limited numbers to provide ample one-on-one time to cater from absolute beginners to keen amateur photographers. We pride ourselves on our jargon-free tips and techniques. However, should you have any technical questions – our instructors have previous DSLR experience and can talk the talk.
The content in the workshops are not specific to any particular phone or operating platform. Photography principles are the same for any equipment utilised. We attempt to really emphasize that the phone is just the tool.
Absolutely no need to have the latest and greatest phone. We show you how to get the most out of your existing phone and have your friends and family amazed at the results you are achieving.
Yes. The content is primarily focussed on mobile photography. DSLRs can now be directly connected to IOS and Android devices to perform mobile photo editing.
We recommend all workshop participants download the free Snapseed app by Google (available on IOS and Android). Further editing apps may be discussed and demonstrated on various workshops.
Yes. Children under the age of 14 are required to be accompanied by a supervising adult. The adult may also book a place on the workshop if they choose to use a mobile device and actively participate in the workshop.
Yes. A minimum number of four participants at the same rate of the scheduled booking is required to arrange a private group booking. Please contact us to organise a suitable time.
One-on-one bookings can be held at a convenient location to you or at your home. Tuition rates are $140 per hour. Travel fees may be applied for distances over 15km from Geelong. Skype conversations can also be arranged. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and arrange a suitable time.
Workshops will continue if it is only light rain or showers. Please check your email before the workshop for cancellation notification due to severe weather. You will be provided the opportunity to reschedule or a full refund. If you do not receive an email, you can assume the workshop will continue as planned.
Yes. You can come back for free or receive a full refund.

Short answer No. The benefit of a modern smartphone is the low light advancements in the photo capture stage. If you have that blotchy, typical early model low resolution images – we cover that in the course too.

Tracked delivery time is usually 1-4 working days to metro areas and up to 5 for regional areas. The best shipping option is selected - either Australia Post or Startrack, based on size of order and delivery location within Australia.
The tracked express option when checking out - is via Startrack and is usually delivered 1-2 working days.

If your product is faulty with a manufacturers defect, you can return them to us for replacement or refund during the first 14 days from delivery of order.
